Stamped concrete will increase the value and beauty of new and existing
homes.
Stamped concrete is not new, it has been around for decades. It was
originally
used in making sidewalks and roadways to increase traction. Now with new
and improved tools and technology pattern stamping has evolved from roadways to
driveways, from sidewalks to patios and walkways.
In the past a mason would freehand score the concrete; in a
flagstone-like pattern, or he would imprint the concrete with sticks, twigs,
leaves or even coffee cans to achieve the desired effect.
Today a process called pattern-stamping is used where stamping or impressing 3D patterns into colored concrete using specialized tools designed to create a
multitude of effects. Including but not limited to brick, cobblestone,
slate, tile and even wood grain.
The cost for stamped concrete is remarkably less than that of the materials
used for other processes such as cobblestone or brick.
Compared to wood the durability is ten-fold. No painting, staining or
replacing rotted planks or posts. No fading from sun exposure.
We combine craftsmanship with customer service to give our clients complete
satisfaction.
